Brazilian Elaine Davidson is the world record holder for body piercing in the Guinness Book of Records and as of March 2012 her piercings total 9,000 according to her website.
According to the Guinness World Record Organisation, the former restaurant owner is constantly adding and replacing jewellery, mostly in her face. She enhances her exotic looks with tattoos and brightly coloured make-up, and often wears feathers and streamers in her hair.
The former nurse from Brazil first broke the record in May 2000, when a Guinness World Records official examined her and found 462 piercings on various parts of her body, including 192 on her facial area alone. “People often just want to look at me or touch me – some even want to kiss me,” Davidson says.
Davidson who got married in Scotland to a Briton in 2011, never removes the rings and studs, which she estimates weigh a total of three kilos. She insists there is no pain involved in piercing and sleeps soundly with all of her piercing ornaments in place. However, while she is traveling the world, she keeps all her piercing ornaments in place but must remember to take her watch off when going through airport security scanners.
A lady of many talents, Davidson also sleeps on a bed of nails, walks on fire and lays on broken glass, and holds a black belt in Judo which she earned in Japan. Davidson also enjoys extreme sports such as “Sky Diving”, “Horse Riding”, “The Trampoline”, loves the Theater because of the costumes and she loves dressing up.
Elaine does not drink, take drugs or smoke cigarettes and she wants people to know this. In some ways this is because she sees her position in the Guinness Book of Records as a responsibility as much as a dedication.

how frecking strange i have exactly the same piercing as you, plus my wrist and neck, and nose lol, but i got them all when i was like a little scene 15 year old haha, i do sometimes wanna stretch my ears again, but i dunno im constantly putting my lip bar back in but always end up taking it out. noone else notices my lip piercings either but i think they are really obvious. xx
